"Wij hadden een tussenovernachting in Stockstadt Am Main vanuit de wintersport in Oostenrijk. 's Avonds vanuit ons hotel naar Wirtshaus zur Fisherinsel gelopen om te eten. Dit restaurant is 2,5 maand geleden gestart en we konden zonder reservering terecht. Gelegen in een soort parkje langs een beek. Let op, je kunt alleen contant betalen. Echt Duits eten op de kaart, zoals vijf soorten schnitzel. Bij bijna alle gerechten krijg je een salade en kies je tussen aardappelkroketten of frites. Bij sommige gerechten worden gebakken aardappelen met spek en ui geserveerd. Ruime porties, lekker van smaak, snel opgediend. Vriendelijke bediening, goede prijzen, nette toiletten. De menukaart kan soms wat veranderen, maar dat wordt op hun Facebookpagina bekendgemaakt."

"Ein echter Geheimtipp in Stockstadt! Ich war auf der Fischinsel und bin restlos begeistert. Das Chef-Schnitzel war mit Abstand eines der besten Schnitzel, das ich je gegessen habe: außen knusprig, innen saftig und perfekt gewürzt. Dazu ein frisch gezapftes Weizen, herrlich! Auch der Kaffee im Anschluss war ein Genuss, liebevoll serviert mit einer kleinen Keksbeilage eine schöne Geste, die den Besuch abrundet. Tolles Ambiente, freundlicher Service und erstklassiges Essen. Wer in der Gegend ist, sollte hier unbedingt einen Stopp einlegen. Ich komme garantiert wieder!"

"Habe jetzt schon mehrmals ein Hähnchen bestellt und war bis jetzt immer positiv überrascht. Sehr saftig und sensationell gewürzt. Alles in allem sehr lecker. Nur zu empfehlen. Ich habe schon viele Hähnchen in meinem Leben gegessen aber das war das beste Hähnchen jemals."

"Super leckere Deutsche Küche nach Omas Rezepten! Wir hatten Hähnchen und Schnitzel am Tisch und alles war wirklich sehr lecker. Der Beilagensalat ist üppig, frisch und lecker! Das Hähnchen vom lokalen Geflügelhof und in verschiedenen Varianten erhältlich. Haut schön knusprig, Fleisch noch super saftig! Donnerstag werden die Hähnchen sogar nach Hause geliefert!! Man sitzt schön gemütlich im Biergarten, direkt an der Gersprenz und schön ruhig gelegen in der Kleingartenanlage. Parkplätze sind mehr als ausreichend vorhanden für Autos und Fahrräder. Preise sind wirklich fast nicht zu toppen.. sowohl für Getränke, als auch das Essen. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden!"

"Waren in einer größeren Gruppe spontan essen haben direkt einen Platz bekommen und es war sehr lecker. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr zuvorkommend. Kann es nur Empfehlen hier essen zu gehen auch das Bier schmeckt sehr gut bin top zufrieden."
